1991-1994 Our Beginnings
BPB Mediterránea is a family company that starts working in the bearing market in the year 1991. At the beginning we were simply importers, bringing those products from almost all over de world.
Some years later we felt we needed a change, a true identity, so we decided to see our business from a different point of view. Our excellent geographical location, in the center of our country, and our experience in the market, made us consider the business of the first assembly in the agricultural market, which was considered risky and not very important at that time, but not for us because it was what we best knew. Our bet, worked out and we started growing.
1995/2005 Strategic Partnership
In 1995 we met PEER Bearing Company from the United States, and since then we have a strong and exclusive relationship. PEER started business in 1948 as bearing importer and became a manufacturer in 1994. In 2003 opened the factory in Argentina, located a few meters from BPB offices.
We became the main bearing supplier for manufacturers of agricultural equipment, of which BPB takes part in more than 70%, delivering our products to more than 200 manufacturers all over the country.
2005 Improving the quality
We certificated the quality under ISO 9001:2000 norm, aim that we set to ourselves more than one year ago, to get a constantly improvement in our processes.
2007 New brand was born
We have given to BPB a very strong impulse of our Engineering and Designing Department, in which professionals are dedicated on the training, advising, designing and testing of BPB new products and the improvement of those we already have; with the aim of offering solutions for High Standard bearing application, taking them to the final product for our clients, who are very important to us.
The extensive knowledge of the product that BPB sells, makes us become one of the best choice to buy a bearing.
In BPB we understand that the relationship with our clients does not end when the deal is closed, but it begins at that moment.
